Rosa Marian Newberry

Rosa Marian Johnson Newberry, 73, passed away at 5:55 PM on November 8, 2020, holding her daughter Regina Robert’s hand in Port Orange, Florida.  Leading up to her departure she was surrounded by her 5 children, siblings, and dear friends.

Rosa Newberry Johnson was born in the early hours of the morning on March 1, 1947, in Hawkinsville, Georgia.  She was the 5^th child and 3^rd daughter of Mr. Frederick Douglass and Annie-Lee Newberry.
